How online fee payments reach your school

Where the money goes, when it arrives, and what the parent pays on top.

When a parent pays fees online in Fusadems, the payment goes through Paystack, a licensed payment company. Each school has its own payout account with Paystack, set up from the bank or Mobile Money details you give us.

Where the money goes

The fee goes to your school’s account, usually on the next working day. Fusadems never holds it. Paystack takes its network charge, and Fusadems receives a small share.

What the parent pays

The parent pays a convenience fee on top of the fee: the network charge plus 1% for Fusadems. They see it before they pay. If you would rather parents paid the exact fee, choose to absorb the charge under Online payments and it comes out of what the school receives.

What happens on your side

  • The learner’s balance goes down straight away.
  • The parent gets a receipt.
  • The payment shows under Fees & Billing with the method and reference.

Cash, MoMo to the school’s number and bank deposits recorded at the office sit on the same account, so you see one balance for each learner.
